Orbital stretch wrapping machine

Orbital stretch wrapping machine is a type of packaging equipment that is used to wrap pallet loads with stretch film. It is called “orbital” because the film dispenser rotates around the pallet in a circular pattern, providing full coverage and stability to the load. These machines are commonly used in warehouses and distribution centers to secure and protect products during storage and transportation.

The orbital stretch wrapping machine has a wrapping speed of 140 revolutions per minute (RPM). It uses a high-speed belt transfer method to move the pallet load during the wrapping process.

The machine can handle film widths of 3 inches, 4 inches, and 5 inches with a maximum diameter of 250mm. The film tensioning is manually adjusted using a friction method. The clipping and cutting of the film is done using a pressure clipping and knife cutting method.

The machine has a table height of 750mm +/- 50mm, and can accommodate a minimum diameter of 102mm for round packages and a minimum of 102mm (W) by 50mm (H) for rectangular packages, with a maximum diameter of 330mm for round packages and a maximum of 550mm (W) by 300mm (H) for rectangular packages.

The machine dimensions are 1570mm (L) by 1250mm (W) by 1600mm (H). Optional equipment includes a top-press bar, input and output conveyor, and a touch HMI panel.
